Hi Team,
Welcome back!
It's great to be back in the swing of things with a wonderful new group of learners in the Kea Class. I'm very excited about the many opportunities we have in the coming year for new learning. We will be trying our best to keep our blog fresh, new, and full of children;s ideas and where possible the children will be writing and commenting on this blog. Please feel free to leave us positive and constructive comments as you're able.
God Bless, Mr Gunn.

Haiku for kids
Do you know how to write a Haiku?
In the Kea class today we learnt all about Haiku poems and how to write them. Here are some of the ones we wrote. We'll tell you about the rules afterwards. :)

Moon shines upon us
the opening of the night
time we went to bed.
Bobby by Milin
The slobbery dog
everyday gets put outside
my saddest best friend.
The Tree By Piper
Blossom tree for me
light so softly through the leaves
shining out for me
WALT: Write a Haiku.
Success Criteria:
Know what a syllable is
Follow the rules of the Haiku

Making Avatars!
This week in the Kea class we have been learning all about Cyber safety. We are gearing up to have individual blogs so its really important that we know how to be safe when we are working on the internet. One way to protect ourselves online is to use an Avatar instead of a real picture of ourselves. We are trying to make our Avatar look like us.
Can you guess who these members of the Kea class are?
